Shipping & Return Policy – Hoto.life (HOTO India)

This Shipping & Return Policy explains how orders are processed, shipped, delivered, and returned when you shop at Hoto.life. All HOTO India products are marketed and distributed by Sophus Technosol Pvt. Ltd.
1. Shipping Policy
A. Order Processing Time
- Orders are processed within 1–2 business days.
- Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
B. Delivery Time
- Metro Cities: 2–5 business days
- Tier 2 & Tier 3 Cities: 3–7 business days
- Remote Areas: 5–10 business days
Delivery timelines may vary due to courier delays, weather conditions, festivals, government restrictions, or other factors outside our control.
C. Shipping Charges
- Free Shipping on prepaid orders across India.
- COD (Cash on Delivery): May include a small handling fee depending on location & courier availability.
D. Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive:
- Tracking ID
- Couri er partner name
- Tracking link via SMS/email
2. Return & Replacement Policy
We offer a 7-day return/replacement window from the date of delivery for eligible cases.
A. Eligible for Return/Replacement
Returns or replacements are accepted if:
- The product received is defective or malfunctioning
- The product is damaged during transit
- The product received is incorrect (wrong model, wrong item)
Important: Customers must raise a request within 7 days of receiving the product.
B. Not Eligible for Return/Replacement
- Physical damage caused by customer misuse
- Water damage (unless the product is water-rated)
- Products with missing accessories, manuals, or components
- Damage due to unauthorized repair or modification
- Returned items not in their original packaging
3. Return Process
To initiate a return or replacement:
- Contact us via email or phone with your order number.
- Provide clear photos/videos showing the issue or defect.
- Our support team will verify eligibility within 1–2 business days.
- If approved, we will arrange pickup from your address or request courier drop-off.
Please ensure the product is packed safely to avoid damage during return transit.
4. Refund Policy
Refunds are applicable only if:
- The product delivered is defective and cannot be replaced
- The product delivered is incorrect and replacement is unavailable
- An order is cancelled before dispatch
A. Refund Method
Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used at checkout (UPI, wallet, card, net banking, etc.)
B. Refund Processing Time
- Verification & approval: 1–3 business days
- Refund credit: 3–7 business days after approval
For COD orders, refunds will be processed to the customer’s provided bank/UPI details.
5. Warranty Support (12 Months)
All HOTO India products come with a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase, covering manufacturing defects and functional issues not caused by misuse.
For warranty claims, customers must provide proof of purchase and details of the issue (photos/videos).
Warranty claims are serviced by Sophus Technosol Pvt. Ltd.
6. Cancellation Policy
- Orders can be cancelled before shipment for a full refund.
- Once dispatched, cancellation is not possible.
For prepaid orders cancelled before dispatch, refunds are issued within 3–7 business days.
7. Incorrect Address or Failed Delivery
If the delivery fails due to:
- Incorrect or incomplete address
- Unreachable phone number
- Customer refusal
Re-shipping fees may apply. Refunds (if requested) may deduct return-to-origin (RTO) costs.
