The internal motor is tuned for controlled carving, sanding, grinding, trimming and polishing rather than heavy construction work. Let the selected accessory and rotation do the work; excessive side pressure can stall the tool, overheat the accessory or mark the project.
Five-speed control ring
Step from 5,000 to 25,000 RPM with one hand
Turn the ring to choose one of five speed levels. The tool remembers the last selected level after power-off, helping you return to a familiar setup.
Choose speed by attachment and material: The five levels span the stated 5,000–25,000 RPM range, but HOTO does not publish every intermediate RPM value. Never exceed the fitted accessory’s permitted speed; the manual limits the disc metal brush to level 3 or below.

HOTO states up to 50 minutes of continuous work on a full charge. Stand the tool on its supplied dock between sessions so it stays stored upright and ready for the next small project.
